How to become a SJ Vietnam volunteer ?

Introduction

SJ Vietnam is an international youth organization opens to everbody sharing the same values of tolerance and solidarity that SJVietnam and who really wants to work as volunteer. To participate to the life of the organization (local activities or abroad) or to participate to the management of the assiaciation, you need absolutly to have a SJV Member card. The SJV member card allow you to participate to all the local and international actitivies of SJV but for some activities some extra fees could be resquested (for example for to join a workcamp abroad or some leisure activities)

If you live in Vietnam

Fill the application forms (download it here) and send it to application@sjvietnam.org or visit us in our secretary. The member card cost 50.000 VND / year. If you don't live in Hanoi, you can send the money by bank transfert. With the member card you will be automaticly a full member of SJV with the right to participate to all local and international activities. You will have also the vote right during our general assembly.

If you live abroad

If you live outside the vietnamese borders and if you wish to join one of our workcamps or LTV projects, you don't need a member card but you have to be member of a voluntary organization in your country. To encourage the voluntary organization around the world, we don't accept "free" volunteers. You can find a list of SJV partners in the section "Partners" in this web site.
