Work and activities: Volunteers working on this project will be full members of the national and international SJ Vietnam organization. In general, volunteers working in this position will mainly coordinate their duties with the PR department. Volunteers will manage and update the SJ Vietnam website and work on the communication policies of the organization. Volunteers will visit the different projects which SJ Vietnam runs, in order to understand more about the activities undertaken at each. They will work with local volunteers to collate information about the organization's activities, and use this information to update news and write articles about SJ Vietnam. Volunteers on this project will be in charge of writing articles for the monthly newsletter. Promoting the image of SJ Vietnam is also a general task for the volunteers.
Objectives: Helping the Public Relations staff to update the website and to promote special events. Managing SJ Vietnam's website, updating information and writing articles for our website.
Accommodation & Food: Simple and small accommodation in SJ Vietnam's LTV House. Volunteers will stay in dormitory beds. It is supposed to have from 5 to 6 volunteers sharing a bedroom and up to 18 volunteers sharing 2 bathrooms/showers. Volunteers need to take their sleeping bag, mosquito net, pillow and sheet with them. Volunteers are responsible for their food: they can cook by themselves in the kitchen of the LTV House or go and eat outside. Vegetarian catering is possible.
Leisure activities: Hanoi has many historical and cultural landmarks and is a popular destination for tourists. Visiting the Old Quarter, traditional trade villages are good choices for volunteers at weekends or in their free time. Many cultural festivals are held in Hanoi annual so this is a great chance for volunteers to explore the Capital which is 1000 years old.

Remarks: Volunteers working on this project should be enthusiastic, optimistic and ready to deal with differences. They need to adapt quickly to a new environment and lifestyle. Volunteers will need to have management skills.
