SJ Vietnam hosted the general assembly of NVDA network in january 2008. During one of our workshops, the leaders builded (or tried ?) to make some water filters with us... Watch the result... SJ Vietnam with the collaboration of the french students 'Un ETAI pour le Vietnam" is running a project to give fresh water to poor people living on the red river since 2004.

In November, a group of retired people from Belgium came to visit SJ Vietnam and Vietnam with SJV volunteers. All these people were member of "Patro of Tournai", a youth organization in Tournai (a town near the French border) were they meet each others 30 years ago. Because this alternative project was a great success, SJV will try to manage one alternative tourism travel for group by year. A good way for tourists to visit more deeply Vietnam and to support SJ Vietnam projects.
